My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alice is a hoot of a puppy who is just now about 8 to 9 months old, and she is very much a playful, fun pup.

Alice is a feisty, active, smart, and very funny shepherd/ lab/ maybe golden blend.

She is a real looker – she has a beautiful multi-colored coat and the most striking greenish-hazel eyes. I’m not sure if her photos really shows her eyes very well, but they are piercing and amazing!

She is also cute with her one ear that stands up and the other that flops over – what a goof-ball!

Alice is an active puppy who is full grown at about 35 – 40 pounds.

Alice is super with other dogs and very playful with them. She gets along with everyone and everything. She is very good-natured and tolerant. However, I wouldn't trust her alone with kitties -- she has been around them, but loves the "thrill of the chase," and I don't ever want to see a kitty hurt.

I am working with her when it comes to adapting to kitties, and I don't think it's impossible, but it's not a good idea right now.

She love kids, too, but she is only a baby, herself, and is teething. Also, considering how playful she is, she might overwhelm very young children.

I simply think she is a great pup – she is smart and very trainable.

Alice is both completely house-trained and crate-trained.

She will make a fabulous buddy for an active family with kids or a single person. Alice is a wonderful, loving, happy dog – she is playful, and happy-go-lucky, and she loves attention.

Alice would love to jog, hike, camp, and go to dog beach with you—in fact, she jumped into our pool twice, just to show off her swimming skills!

She would do very well with another dog,

Of course, her adoption covers all of her shots (a series of three baby shots), her spay and rabies shot, and whatever incidentals she needs to be a happy, healthy buddy.

Alice is also micro-chipped.

You might even want to take sweet Alice home for a sleepover, so you can see how well she blends with your family and your other pets. She is just great!
