Norma's Story...
I’m Norma, a sweet mama, just a little over a year old myself. I’m a patient mother who loves her kittens, but they’re ready to find forever homes now – as am I! I’m not the playful sort, more the talkative, chatty Kathy. I enjoy the company of people, especially pets and rubs. I prefer sitting next to you rather than directly on your lap, or you might find me rubbing against your legs, letting you know I’m ready for pets. I’ve been cautious with the other cats in my foster home since I’ve been protecting my babies, but now that my kittens are rambunctious, playful, and independent, I’m making friends with other friendly felines. I’m anxious to find a loving family of my own. Is that with you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Norma, a Aldie Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
