Here's what the humans have to say about me:
6/6/17 -
Meet our "sweet" chocolate babies, otherwise known as Roxanne's puppies. Roxanne is a beautiful black lab that was picked up after being dumped in a rural area in Alabama. The couple that found her kept her for a few weeks before realizing she was pregnant! They contacted rescue and begged for someone to take her so that she could have her puppies. That's where we came in and we are so glad we did. After a week in foster care, she gave birth to 11, beautiful black babies. Unfortunately, she lost two of her babies the first week, but she was the. able to become a surrogate for two others that were in desperate need as well (Hope and Haus, Mazie's 2 survivors). Now all 11 of Roxanne's "puppies"are four weeks old and healthy, playful, socialized and fun bundles. They are constantly held by the three and five-year-old boys in the house and have constant visitors. They live with cats and lots of other doggies. If they grow up to be anything like their mama, they will not only be gorgeous labs, but they will be affectionate and loyal companions. These babies will be ready for you to take home the first of July! Unfortunately, Roxanne is not available for adoption yet because she will undergo heartworm treatment once her babies are in their new homes. (Roxanne is about 65 lbs so I think the babies will be large. They are around 4 lbs now).
The boys are...Russell Stover, Toblerone, Ghirardelli and Hershey
The girls are...Reese, Dove, Lindt and Godiva
The adoption fee of $525 includes age-appropriate vaccines, initial de-worming, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, USDA interstate health certificate (for transport only) and transport fee. They are to be considered unavailable. Thank you. Additional information is available on our site fordogssakerescue.org.
