THEIR STORY: Sandy came from a high kill shelter. She was owner surrender. Sandy came to us with her 4 kittens. She was severely malnourished, to the point where her 4, 4 week old kittens had no milk.

PERSONALITY: Sandy is a very loving cat, in spite of what she had been through before she came to us. She is stunningly beautiful. It seems she is at least half Abyssinian. She seeks out affection. She loves people. And she is very playful! Online application!

We don't want to see them given to the Humane Society (which can euthanize upwards of 50 or more cats a day like our local shelter) or left to fend for themselves on the streets. I will always take a cat that I adopted out back. Please never let the humane society be a choice for ANY animal. They rely on us for their well-being******

We are a registered 501c3 non-profit rescue organization. We do not have a shelter, but rely on foster parents and homes to house our rescued animals. Because of this our adoption times vary and are very flexible.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sandy, a New Smyrna Beach Abyssinian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Abyssinian for sale in New Smyrna Beach, or seeking a Abyssinian cat from a breeder in New Smyrna Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Smyrna Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Smyrna Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Abyssinian breeders who help with Abyssinian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Smyrna Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
