Puppies Puppies Puppies's Story...

Mama dog 'Precious' was pulled from a shelter just hours from being put down with tiny little puppies in her belly. The next day (Feb 3, 2011) eight sweet little pups were born. There are 4 girls and 4 boys. ONE GIRL HAS BEEN ADOPTED (3 GIRLS 4 BOYS NEED FOREVER HOMES). We believe the mama is a Ponter mix. Looking at the puppies, I believe she mated with a Coonhound. These sweet little angels are looking for a family. Only one is brown. The rest are mainly black with brown or white. If you are looking for a first time pet for your children, this is the dog to get. They are sweet, gentle, and docile. One of my first dogs was a Pointer. They are so good with children.

~Little Nugget's Rescue covers GA and surrounding states for adoptions. We require a fenced yard (exceptions made on a case by case basis - NO exceptions for puppies or deaf/vision impaired dogs), that all other animals in the home be up to date on vaccinations as well as being spayed/neutered and that all dogs live inside as a part of the family. Electric fences are not allowed. Our approval process consists of an application, vet and reference checks, phone interview and house check. Please email us if you have any questions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Puppies Puppies Puppies, a Snellville Pointer/Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Coonhound for sale in Snellville, or seeking a Pointer/Coonhound puppy from a breeder in Snellville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Snellville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Snellville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Coonhound breeders who help with Pointer/Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Snellville paves the way for another one to be saved.
