Minnie's Story...

My name is Minnie. I was brought into a very high kill shelter with my brother and Dad. Thank goodness we were rescued by Little Nuggets Rescue. My foster mom took us to her home. You should see the back yard. I can run like there is no tomorrow. Come visit me and I'll show you how fast I can run. My foster mom tells me I just turned one. Do you have little people? I love children. Check me out. I'm adorable!

~Little Nugget's Rescue covers GA and surrounding states for adoptions. We require a fenced yard (exceptions made on a case by case basis - NO exceptions for puppies or deaf/vision impaired dogs), that all other animals in the home be up to date on vaccinations as well as being spayed/neutered and that all dogs live inside as a part of the family. Electric fences are not allowed. Our approval process consists of an application, vet and reference checks, phone interview and house check. Please email us for an application or if you have any questions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Minnie, a Snellville Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Snellville, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Snellville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Snellville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Snellville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Snellville paves the way for another one to be saved.
