Drake's Story...

My name is Drake. My previous human friend gave me up to Animal Control. Boy, was I scared and confused. My foster mom drove two hours to come and get me. Do you think I was excited? But, I'll be even more excited to be adopted by you and made the KING of the house. I'm 3 1/2 years old. Yes, I am a Jack Russell, but since I am a little older, I have settled down a bit. Don't let the floating ribs fool you. It's just a blemish thing. I'm 100% healthy. For a little guy, I bet I can out run you! Take me home and give me lots of kisses and I will be your best friend forever.

~Little Nugget's Rescue covers GA and surrounding states for adoptions. We require a fenced yard (exceptions made on a case by case basis - NO exceptions for puppies or deaf/vision impaired dogs), that all other animals in the home be up to date on vaccinations as well as being spayed/neutered and that all dogs live inside as a part of the family. Electric fences are not allowed. Our approval process consists of an application, vet and reference checks, phone interview and house check. Please email us for an application or if you have any questions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Drake, a Snellville Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Snellville, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Snellville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Snellville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Snellville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Snellville paves the way for another one to be saved.
