Minnie (Petsmart South Brunswick)'s Story...
Minnie is a shy little cat who was released to the shelter when her owner died. She was timid at first but very sweet. We were able to rescue her from the shelter and she is settling nicely into foster care. Minnie is about 3 years old, loves to be pet and picked up, and is ready to find her forever home. Go to http://www.trentoncats.org/adoption-form.html to fill out an application. All of our cats are spayed/neutered and up to date on age appropriate vaccines before being put up for adoption. Preference given to those willing to adopt in pairs. NOTE: Our cats are either in foster homes or retail adoption centers. If you are interested in meeting a specific kitty, please email us. We conduct adoptions throughout the week by appointment and host weekly adoption events at several locations. Volunteers wanted! Go to http://www.trentoncats.org/volunteer.html for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Minnie (Petsmart South Brunswick), a Trenton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Trenton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Trenton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Trenton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Trenton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Trenton paves the way for another one to be saved.
