Steve (FD)'s Story...
Serious affection LOVERS only need apply for this cute LOVE BUG! Stevie is a 5-month old male kitten surrendered to the Trenton Shelter and he needs a home not a cage! He is the most incredibly social and people-loving guy his foster person has ever met. He gets along with other cats and likes his dog (still progressing). He sleeps with you (naps or all night) and adores the 11-year old boy in his foster family. And of course, he loves to play, play, play! If you love a TON of affection and have lots of attention to give this cutie pie, apply to take him home today for the holidays!! He will bring love and warmth wherever he goes All our cats and kittens are up to date on all age appropriate vaccines and spayed or neutered before being adopted. TCR ADOPTION SCREENING FORM NOTE: most of our cats are either in foster homes or a Petsmart adoption center. If you are interested in one of our cats, please email TrentonCats@gmail.com for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Steve (FD), a Trenton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Trenton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Trenton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Trenton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Trenton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Trenton paves the way for another one to be saved.
