Diego's Story...

I was rescued from the Delano pound, and Forte is courtesy posting me for adoption! I’m neutered, vaccinated and totally ready for a new home! I love dogs of any size. They say I’m really sweet, playful yet gentle. I’m full of love and will be your loyal pal to pal around everywhere you go! Or join a big family and become a couch potato on weekend nights to watch movies with you all.

Note: This is a courtesy posting for our fellow rescuer, which means that even though this animal does not belong to our group, we are here to help those who need to find a home for their animals. We are merely helping them gain exposure on the Internet by serving as a conduit to make the initial contact with the potential homes, and we are not responsible for the content of this post. All future communications and arrangements are solely between you and the above contact person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diego, a Marina del Rey Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
