Alicia is fostered in Cooper City, FL (Broward County). We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for fosters. Alicia is a 5-month-old puppy full of life and ready to play. She and her siblings were DNA tested and the results were 90 to 95% border collie and 5 to 10% Australian cattle dog. Alicia's new home will need to be border collie-savvy and will need a fenced in area for her to run and exercise in. She would do best in an active home where running, hiking or sports are a daily part of life. She is bit of a dominant girl BUT with the right introductions to other dogs she does well. She is up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and preventives and will be microchipped prior to adoption. As with all puppies, be prepared for potty training, chewing, chasing and all things puppy. These pups can go home with a spay or neuter contract - at 6 months of age once proof of spay/neuter has been submitted, $50 of their adoption donation can be refunded.

About Ewenity Farm Herding Dog Haven

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small rescue organization located in Southwest Florida. Being small helps us give more one on one attention to individual dogs and their needs. Rescued dogs are kept in our homes and treated as our own. Herding dogs are unique. They are a highly intelligent and require much of the owner’s attention. The dogs are evaluated, when they come into the rescue, for any temperament and health issues. Then they are given basic obedience, socialization and rehabilitation as it is necessary.

It is our sole purpose to find forever homes for these loving, wonderful dogs that have been discarded through no fault of their own. All adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, micro-chipped, and on flea and heartworm preventative.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Since all rescue dogs live in our homes with us or in foster homes, you will need to travel to meet any dog you might want to adopt.

You will need to contact Ewenity Farms HDH to make arrangements to meet the rescue dog.

Our Adoption Process...

We require potential adopters to fill out an Adoption Application. When that is approved we can arrange for the prospective adopter to meet the dog they are interested in. We do require an adoption contract to be signed at time of adoption. We conduct home visits. There is an adoption fee that is usually around $250 per dog to cover any expenses we have incurred. We do have dogs located at qualified fosters throughout the state and also out of state.
