Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there! Boomer here!
If you have been a MW BREW groupie, you would have seen me on the “Sponsors needed” page. Well I am here to tell you I am in good shape now. I have fabulous clean teeth although I lost quite a few along the way. My Cushing’s disease is under control with my medicine I take every day. I had a bad bump on my shoulder too and that turned out to be an old wound that did not heal properly. I have been through a lot lately but my foster mom says I have never lost my spunky spirit.
You know I am about 12 years old and you may think that I am a tired old guy but I am active little man that is on the move. I am good in the car and like to take walks. I sleep on a blanket or dog bed at night and during the day. I love to kiss and am a great eater. I don’t really like my crate but I go in during the day when no one is home.
Getting back to my Cushing’s disease, I have a medicine I take in the morning. I like it wrapped in a piece of cheese or meat. Watch your fingers! I used to have accidents all the time before I started my medicine, but that has all changed. I am doing so much better. My foster mom lets me out often and that works for me.
In my old life, my dad died and I stayed with my mom but she couldn’t take care of me and my sister. I am making up for lost time. I am super excited to have people around me and am learning to relax. I am super friendly. I would be fine as an only dog or with a dog that doesn’t mind that I prefer being with my people. Please take a chance on me. I will be a loyal lap dog that is ready for any adventure!
Love, Boomer!NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).
