Do you need a running partner?!!  I just might be the one.

Hi!  My name is Bailey.  I found myself on the euthanization list at the local shelter and it was real scary.  This nice rescue came and saved me in the last few hours.  I am one really lucky guy and my foster family tells me I will be even luckier when I find my own forever family.  I am a perfect medium size dog and have now gained back some weight since breaking free from the shelter.  I shared a kennel with some bigger dogs and let's just say I let them have dinner instead.   My coat doesn't require a lot of grooming and my needs are very simple.  I do well with other dogs, but I'm a little scared.  So I do need a proper introduction.  I'm great with all people, but am also still a puppy so I prefer supervision.  I have started to learn some basic commands like SIT, Down, Roll over, Stay, and Leave It.  I'm a super quick learner and think I could be taught many tricks like walking on my back legs.  I like to give kisses, but I won't soak you 24 hours a day.  I'm up to date on all vaccines and I've been neutered.  Boy that wasn't very fun :) My foster mom says all I need is some love, time outside on walks/runs,  and a family of my own.  My favorite things are belly rubs, chasing lizards, and  fetching a tennis ball.  I will bring it right back to you :)  I would love it if my forever home  included a jogger for I will be a great running partner.  I am still leash reactive, but my foster family is working hard on fixing that.  For now, our runs are mostly at night and they are my favorite.  I am also starting some training program come September down in the Clear Lake area.  My Foster Mom says that's going to help me become an even better companion.  Come meet me!  I would love to run with you!

The adoption fee includes vaccinations, bordetella, deworming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is an additional $10.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip. If adopting a puppy, the rabies and spay/neuter will be done at the same time by our vet once they are 4 months old and billed to us. It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
