Facts about Macgregor

  • Breed: Scottish Fold
  • Color: Black (All)
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Very sweet. Cute little round head.
He is very sociable and verbal, will follow you around the house. He will sit on your lap until you move him. Plays for hours by himself with the toys and talks to himself while he's playing.
Macgregor tests positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus which is a feline only, slow-acting virus. FIV simply means a cat's immune system MAY be compromised somewhere down the road or it may never affect the cat. A common misconception is that FIV is like AIDS.
Most cats that test positive for FIV live long, healthy lives and usually die from age-related diseases. If cats with FIV are kept indoors all the time and receive regular vet check-ups (at least annually) and other vet care the need may occur, they can live long lives.

About The Cat Network

About Our Rescue Group...

Mission Statement: The Cat Network is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit, 501(c) (3), no-kill and life-enhancing cat rescue group. Since 1991, we have rescued and placed thousands of abandoned, abused, stray and shelter cats and kittens in St. Louis, Missouri and surrounding areas. After their rescue, the cats and kittens are provided medical care, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, micro-chipped and spayed or neutered. Cats and kittens are kept in foster care and then placed in loving permanent homes whenever possible.
