What a super sweet and handsome guy this is! And he has the most vibrant green eyes you've ever seen and a most unique coat. He is a mottled grey and black on top and his entire undercoat is white. He has quite the story too. He was found in a kill shelter looking so sad and scared but once we took him he was just the sweetest thing only wanting to be loved. We noticed that his mouth seemed uncomfortable and he didn't want to eat and was very skinny and dehydrated. He was checked by the vet and surprisingly only had 5 teeth left and they were in bad shape. So, the vet removed them all and he is so much happier and is pain free! Funny thing is he only wants dry food now but he's eating lots of it so he can regain his weight and be the big boy that he is supposed to be. He is very tall and long and we expect him to weigh around 15 pounds. He loves to roll over for belly rubs and will always come up to you for a head butt. He's a special guy who deserves and forever home. What about yours?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shitake, a Youngsville Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Youngsville, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Youngsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
