Meet MARGE in Rhode Island
We do not transport dogs out of the area. We ask that you live within 80 miles of the dog's location. We are an all volunteer organization and can only respond when a completed application is filed. We do list our requirements, so please read carefully. All dogs are adopted through contract.
WE DO REQUIRE A PHYSICAL FENCE for most dogs as they have gotten used to be outside.
MARGE IS A MELLOW, MILD MANNERED LABRADOR MIX... key word is MELLOW.(though some believe she is a full breed).. We believe her to be under one year old and 60 lbs. She sadly found herself in a high kill shelter in the south and luckily was rescued just in time. We do know she is just as sweet as can be, with an easy going nature. She readily wags her tail when strangers enter the house. She is quickly finding her place in the foster home where there are plenty of other dogs of all sizes and gets along well.
We are looking for someone who lives an active lifesyle, will not leave her alone all day and will take her for basic training,
Again a fence is a MUST or an invisible fence.

Once we have reviewed your application and think it is a match we will notify you. Please understand that as these dogs are fostered we do get to know them and have a good idea of their forever home. We do NOT save applications, but you may put multiple names on one applciation. We do not choose by a first come first serve basis. So if the dog is still up on the site, consider the dog AVAILABLE. We do take down quickly when adopted.
