Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Charming and Regal Sheeva Wants to be Your Best Friend
2-year-old, black and blonde, small, female German Shepherd
Good with other dogs: Yes
Good with children: Older children only
Good with cats: Unknown
Beautiful Sheeva lives up to her name’s meaning: Charming. Sheeva is not only a gorgeous girl, she is very sweet and loves people and other dogs. She’s a young, energetic girl who will need an active family that is dedicated to ensuring she gets plenty of physical and mental activity. Right now, she’s pretty thin, but we are working to put healthy weight on her.
Sheeva already knows some basic commands, like sit and down, and she’s learning heel and is learning to walk better on a leash. She really enjoys the agility equipment too. When she arrived, Sheeva was pretty timid, but with lots of love and attention, she’s come out of her shell and just loves attention!
However, she is nervous upon meeting new people initially, but once she realizes she’s safe, she loves to get lots of pets and scratches.
Our beautiful Sheeva is good with other dogs, but likely would be better with larger dogs since she’s
pretty energetic. She also would be better with older children due to her energy and strength.
As always, if you are interested in a Saving Paws dog, you must fill out our online application to get the approval process started. We will only schedule meet and greets with an approved application! All staff members are volunteers and are not compensated for their time and expenses. Many juggle family and full-time careers while volunteering at Saving Paws. Please be patient as sometimes it takes up to 5 days to process an application.
