Magnolia's Story...
Magnolia #7314 is a 6-year-old female, Chihuahua/Beagle mix. This young lady is a very happy sweet girl. She is crate trained. She came from a hording situation, so it takes her a minute to warm up to you. She is great on a leash, she loves to pull herself through the grass in an “army” crawl. She likes having her belly rubbed. She is good with most dogs and seems to not care about cats. She weighs 15 pounds and is full grown. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Email dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for adoption event locations and updates: www.facebook.com/lcarmd.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Magnolia, a Waldorf Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
