Hi my name is Riley Girl. I am a 2 years old, 10 pounds of sweetness. I am a Chihuahua and perhaps Shiba Inu mix. My foster mom says I am a very easy dog to live with. I get along with dogs and people and I am very polite. If another dog wants my toy I share. I am a dainty little eater and I eat out of my own bowl and don’t try to sneak food from the other dogs’ bowls.
I am a pretty quite dog n ow. I used to bark a lot but we been working on that. Every now and then when I hear a really strange noise I will bark. But once I get used to my surroundings I don't bark very much. I no longer bark at the dogs next door even when they bark am me.
I play with other dogs but mostly I love to sit on laps and snuggle. I am a bit tentative around new folks and big dogs. Once I know you I love to be near you. But I am not pushy. If you want me to sit on the floor or next to you instead of in your lap that is okay with me. As long as I get a bit of attention I am pretty happy. I sleep in a dog bed or in your bed at night and can sleep in a kennel but I prefer to be outside of the kennel.
I have been spayed, microchipped and have my shots updated. So I am ready to go to my forever home. Do you have a place for me? I don’t take up much room. Will you promise to be my forever home? I was found on the streets and I never want to go back there. I really need a forever home where I feel safe and loved.
My adoption fee of $175.00 helps with the medical needs of the rescue.
