Facts about Zeus

  • Breed: Doberman Pinscher
  • Color: Black - With Tan, Yellow Or Fawn
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Zeus is a young, all natural dobie boy who is almost 2 years old. Unfortunately, he hasn't had a whole lot of training but he is smart and eager to please so in the right home, he could be a wonderful member of the family. He didn't have proper socialization with other dogs at a young age but we are working with him. He has a hard time meeting new dogs and he takes direct eye contact as a challenge so dog parks won't be a good place for him. He has however, been able to live nicely with a couple of large female dogs whom he adores. He loves to play and even has some puppy-like qualities. Zeus would be great for someone who is a bit of a homebody with a large yard or property so he can get his daily exercise without reacting to other dogs. He is a silly, happy, and submissive guy who would love to finally find a loving family of his very own. About Dobies and Little Paws Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a non-profit, no-kill rescue/sanctuary specializing in dobermans but also rescuing small dogs. Most of our dogs come from animal shelters before they are euthanized and are given a second chance at a new home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are located on a small ranch nestled in the orchards of Fillmore, ca. We are open every saturday from 11:00am-3:00pm for open house adoptions. We can arrange weekday or sunday visits by appointment as well.

Our Adoption Process...

We ask that you bring the whole family (including the four legged) so we can best match you with the right dog. Once you have found your new companion we will have you fill out a one page adoption agreement. We ask a donation of $250-$350 for a doberman and generally $150-$250 for a little dog. All dogs go home spayed or neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, with a collar, ID tag, and de-wormer.
