This little cutie is Paris and it's hard not to fall in love with amber eyes! We got word that her owners were moving and she would be shelter bound the next day unless we could help. We were told that Paris was pure Dobie but it's hard to believe with her slightly longer coat and smaller stature, even though her tail is docked. Whatever she is, she is adorable and we hope a forever home is right around the corner for her. She is about 2 years old, a bit shy and probably quite confused at the moment. We think the best home for her is a slightly quieter, low-stress household with patient owners to help her gains little confidence. She is very sweet, curious and affectionate but she takes a little time to come out of her shell. She is also extremely dog social and can live with any and all other dogs without issue. Being indoors is a bit of a foreign concept to her but she is doing great with crate training and enjoys having a "safe space" while she acclimates to new surroundings. Paris is now spayed and ready for a new start so come on out to the rescue in Fillmore, ca and give this girl a chance! Any questions? Please contact us at email@example.com or 805-524-5102.
We are a non-profit, no-kill rescue/sanctuary specializing in dobermans but also rescuing small dogs. Most of our dogs come from animal shelters before they are euthanized and are given a second chance at a new home.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We are located on a small ranch nestled in the orchards of Fillmore, ca. We are open every saturday from 11:00am-3:00pm for open house adoptions. We can arrange weekday or sunday visits by appointment as well.
Our Adoption Process...
We ask that you bring the whole family (including the four legged) so we can best match you with the right dog. Once you have found your new companion we will have you fill out a one page adoption agreement. We ask a donation of $250-$350 for a doberman and generally $150-$250 for a little dog. All dogs go home spayed or neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, with a collar, ID tag, and de-wormer.
