This handsome guy is Diablo and sadly, his owner needs to find a new home for him. He has taken a job in another country that requires extensive traveling so Diablo will need a new home this month or he will be coming back to the rescue. He is almost 6 years old now and clearly a handsome dude. According to his owners:

"He is extremely sweet and gentle with people – he’s never shown even a hint of aggression to a human being of any age. He loves to cuddle and to be with his family. He gets along well with most dogs once he’s had a chance to get to know them, and he plays well with them but he can be very reactive when he first meets other dogs. He would not be good with cats or other small furry creatures.

He is housebroken and he has had basic training. It breaks my heart to have to give him up, but it’s really in his best interest. I’ve attached a couple of recent pictures of him."

Diablo is located in Southern California so if you're interested in giving him a new home then please contact us at dobierescue@earthlink.net or 805-524-5102.

About Dobies and Little Paws Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a non-profit, no-kill rescue/sanctuary specializing in dobermans but also rescuing small dogs. Most of our dogs come from animal shelters before they are euthanized and are given a second chance at a new home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are located on a small ranch nestled in the orchards of Fillmore, ca. We are open every saturday from 11:00am-3:00pm for open house adoptions. We can arrange weekday or sunday visits by appointment as well.

Our Adoption Process...

We ask that you bring the whole family (including the four legged) so we can best match you with the right dog. Once you have found your new companion we will have you fill out a one page adoption agreement. We ask a donation of $250-$350 for a doberman and generally $150-$250 for a little dog. All dogs go home spayed or neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, with a collar, ID tag, and de-wormer.
