Scooby is a 14 week old male hound mix. He is a happy-go-lucky puppy that is happy to be in rescue afer a life outdoors being covered in fleas and ticks. He is now a happy, healthy boy and loving life with his foster mom. Scooby is a beautiful boy with a goofy personality. He is looking for a family to continue his training, socialization and take him to puppy school.

Scooby has been vetted, vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Because of his young age he will need one more round of puppy vaccines.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scooby, a Virginia Beach Foxhound/Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound/Pointer for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Foxhound/Pointer puppy from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound/Pointer breeders who help with Foxhound/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
