**Here is what a volunteer had to say about me "Such a gentle lady."**

Hello, my name is Sophie and I'm a mature lady with pretty tan and gray tortoiseshell markings. I'm sweet, friendly and affectionate and I enjoy being petted and perching in the window. I'm looking for a new home because my former owners divorced and neither party was able to take care of me. I lived with these people for eight years so I was very sorry to lose my home but I'm trying to adjust to my new circumstances. My ideal home would be a quiet one with mature owners who will give me plenty of space to get used to my new surroundings and a nice soft bed to sleep on with a healthy dose of love and attention. I'm pretty low key and not terribly active and I would be more than happy to keep my people company on the couch, so if you're looking for a quiet older kitty then I would be the perfect choice.
