Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cookie is one of those special dogs you come across once in a lifetime. She was dumped along a country road sometime in in January. It took us going out to her location for 4 months before we finally earned her trust enough for her to allow us to help her.
She is approx 2 years old and probably the most dog friendly dog you will ever meet. Her one goal in life is to have fun with other dogs. She is one of the most playful dogs we have rescued in a long time and would be the perfect companion to another dog who needs a friend.
Because she has been failed so many times by humans, she is leary of strangers but not in an aggressive way...she is scared of mostly everyone. She will warm up to a new family after a couple of days and once she does...she will be your new best friend.
She follows her foster mama around everywhere she goes and loves spending time with the other dogs in the home. We are saying no small only because when Cookie gets excited she gets the zoomies and can easily accidentally knock a little one over. She does not have a mean bone in her body.
If you would like to learn more about Cookie and what it will take to adopt her, please let us know and please be local to the East Bay/ Bay Area, CA so we can easily help get her acclimated to her new home.
