Selena has had a rough life. She first came into rescue in December of 2011. She was surrendered to rescue because she was used for producing puppies and when they no longer wanted her, they gave her up. She was an outside only dog until she came into rescue. Selena had very little human contact and what she did was abuse by a man but we changed that right away. Her foster family socialized her very well with adults, kids of all ages, and dogs and cats.
Since then she was adopted by a couple that lived on some land and broke our policy and made her an outside dog again. We took her back as soon as we found out.
Selena is loving being inside and spending her days at her foster mom's feet and next to her foster brothers.
We asked Selena what she would like from her forever home and this is what she told us:
A loving family that will let her be inside
A loving family that will let her sleep next to them
A loving family that will give her belly rubs
A loving family that will take her on slow walks as she does have some arthritis
A loving family that will give her all the love that she has missed out on for 7 years.
Will you be her loving family?
