Meet Bear!

Bear is a 1yr old PUREBRED Great Pyrenees. He weighs about 90lbs and is expected to get bigger still! He is as friendly and sweet as they come. Loves to snuggle (he thinks he's a lap dog and tries to get in your lap). He is house trained and a calm, gentle soul.

Because Bear is a special breed of dog, his adoption fee is $500. He is fully vetted including neuter, microchip, and all shots. His original owners purchased him from a breeder as a puppy but did not research how big he would get, how often he MUST be groomed, or how much he DROOLS! We are not going to let this happen to this sweet boy again. The family that adopts Bear must have experience with giant breeds, preferably the giant herding breeds. Bear is not a novelty or showpiece. He is a living creature with feelings, needs, and much love to give. We hope he can find a deserving family that will appreciate this majestic, sweet boy (preferably one with several Dyson vacuums and a mop at the ready!)

Bear is being fostered in Georgia, so it is not possible to do a meet & greet, however we are happy to send more pictures and video. Once adopted, our transport will bring him to the Northeast. He is ready to arrive Sat 6/17.
