Woof, woof! My name is Shorty and I am a handsome 6 ½ yr. old, 28 lb. beagle boy that needs to find a new home. My previous owner was frequently out of town and many of my days were spent in a kennel run. I would love to find a new home with someone who wants to spend time with me! I love attention and am friendly with other dogs and good with children. I am microchipped and up-to-date with my vaccinations. I even had a dental done last month! I will soon be taking an exciting road trip from North Carolina to New Jersey and will be arriving at Penny Angels early Saturday morning (June 10). I will be at Petsmart on Saturday from 11-3 pm so that I can try to sniff out my new family. Stop by Petsmart that day and say “woof” to me! I would love to meet you!! Perhaps we will make a special connection that day, too! I will definitely try to show you the happy side of me, but keep in mind that I will probably be a little tired from my recent travels! If you are thinking about me, just take a chance and visit me… I’m sure it will be a wonderful surprise for us both!! If I don’t meet my new owner on Saturday, more information will be posted about me after I get settled in Rescue.
