Facts about Oliver

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Tortoiseshell
  • Age: Kitten
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Meet Oliver! He is sweet, gentle, and playful. Although a little shy at first, Oliver loves to be petted and has a big purr when you stroke and hold him. He also gets along well with the other kitties in his room. At a first glance, you might think he's a black kitty, but look closer. Oliver is actually a tortoiseshell kitty! The end of his tail is orange, and he has orange flecks on his nose, head, and body. The majority of tortoiseshells are females, with some estimates saying the likelihood of finding a male is about 1 in 3,000! Oliver is certainly a rare find. Oliver's birthday is estimated as 3-18-17. He was rescued and brought to Acadiana Animal Aid on 5-31-17.
