* Jack is looking for a home where he is the only animal. *
He is the sweetest boy you will ever meet. He loves to snuggle, sleep under the blankets with you and be your ride or die partner in the car. Jack learned at a young age that if things get too exciting when other dogs are around, you bite them. He lived with a smaller dog that would attack him on a regular basis because he was a puppy and wanted to play. When things got a little out of hand, he would be attacked. It got to the point that Jack started fighting back. It became too much for the owners so they decided to try and find Jack another home since they had the other dog first. Jack came in to the rescue and went straight into a foster home with other animals (dogs and cats). He did ok at first but once he got comfortable and realized which dog was the weakest link, when things got too exciting, he would attack that dog. We brought in a great trainer that helped his foster mom work with him and the other dogs in the home to see what the issues really are. Jack is a smart boy, he learned leash walking and has been working on place. However, he's just been too unpredictable when it comes to the "excitement" levels. His foster mom is willing to pay for two more training lessons with the trainer he has been working with as long as the adopter is local. Please help us find Jack a home where he can be the center of attention like he deserves. He's an amazing boy and loved dearly by everyone who meets him.
