Facts about Jaguar

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black (All)
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
It's hard to get pretty pictures when Jaguar is only concerned with being loving! This precious girl only wanted chin scratches and attention - she was not remotely concerned with getting her picture taken. Her priority is love! Jaguar is about 9 months old and currently lives with another female cat and loves her company! Jaguar constantly is purring and just is so affectionate. What a fantastic cat!

About Michiana Humane Society

About Our Shelter...

The Michiana Humane Society has been helping our community's unwanted animals find homes for nearly 100 years. We believe that animals belong with families, and we do whatever we can to make that happen!

Come Meet Our Pets...

The shelter is currently open Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays for adoptions. You can find news of our activities on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/MichianaHumaneSocietySPCA) or our website.

Our Adoption Process...

Looking for a dog or cat? Here's how we do adoptions at MHS. Come into the shelter and find the pet you want to add to your family. Fill out an application form and leave it at the front desk. Then you call us the next morning to find out if you're approved!

Once your adoption is approved, if the pet is already spayed or neutered you can come in, complete the adoption contract, and take your baby home.

If a spay or neuter is required, MHS will schedule it within the next week. Once your pet's surgery is complete, you can come in and pick up.

Adoption fees are $135 for dogs and $85 for cats. That includes all initial vaccinations (except rabies), spay or neuter if required, heartworm or feline leukemia testing, and flea treatments.
