Rusty's Story...
Hi everyone! My name is Rusty! I'm a 10 year old neutered Boston Terrier. I'm calm and easy going and love to sit near you. I have done well around other shelter dogs so far! I used to live with dogs and cats and co-existed nicely! I'm just a smart guy - I know how to sit, lay down, roll over, and I walk nicely on a leash! I absolutely love squeaky toys! I also love running. I am a playful and loving boy, I am so excited to find a new home to call my own!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rusty, a Michigan City Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Michigan City, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Michigan City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Michigan City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Michigan City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Michigan City paves the way for another one to be saved.
