Here's what the humans have to say about me:
READY AFTER JUNE 15th
Oleander is a bit of a rarity in the domestic (non-purebred) cat world. His color is called lilac tabby and it is quite uncommon. He is sort of brownish in person with a light purple tint. "Minuette" from our program is a solid lilac. They are unrelated but it is odd that we see two rare colored cats at the same time!
Oleander can be a tiny bit hesitant at first, at least in comparison to his overly-outgoing friends. But after an initial bit of shyness he is quick to join in a game of tag, chase a ball, or similar kitten games. Oleander would benefit greatly from a kitten pal who will help him build self-confidence and keep him entertained when humans aren't home or are asleep. An older cat that can take him would be okay too but we fear that if he goes to a home as an only cat he will be a shy guy.
