IDGSR WELCOMES FOREST INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Forest is a male German Shepherd mix puppy who is 8 weeks old. He was one of 7 puppies born to Faith who was pregnant when she came to the rescue. Faith is a GS but we do not know who the dad was so we are listing Forest as a mix. Forest is a sweet playful pup and the white patch on his chest almost looks like the symbol PI.

Puppies are cute but they are also a blank slate and require a lot of time and attention. They will whine, have accidents, and chew on inappropriate things. A puppy obedience class helps with all of those things and helps them be the best grown-up dog they can be. Forest will be ready to go to his new home in a few weeks but applications are being accepted now.

If you would like to make this sweet pup a part of your family, please copy this link for the application.

PLEASE READ. Regarding the application processing fee: IDGSR requires that all applicants submit a $20 non-refundable application processing fee. Please note that submitting an application and fee does not guarantee that you will be approved or guarantee the adoption of any specific dog, since that dog may have other applications being considered.

Each dog's adoption fee varies depending on the age of the dog.
$300 for any dog 1 year and younger (PUPPY
$250 for any dog 1-6 years (YOUNG & ADULT)
$200 for any dog 7 years (ADULT SENIOR)

All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, monthly preventative, and have been spayed or neutered.

Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

All dogs are fostered in TN unless stated otherwise.

***Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our four-legged friends***
Donations to help us care for all the dogs in our program are also greatly appreciated and may be made from our main petfinder page: http://IDGSR.petfinder.com

About IMMINENT DANGER GERMAN SHEPHERD RESCUE - NH Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

Imminent Danger German Shepherd Rescue started 5 yrs. ago rescuing German Shepherds and High Content Mixes from the Imminent Danger where they were sitting on Death Row in High Kill Animal Control Facilities in TN, NC, SC,KY, VA, GA & AL.Over 1000 Dogs lives have been spared and we've never worked so hard in our lives to save these wonderful kids. Our process from saving these kids includes 30 years of experience in working breed dogs. We conduct Safer Tests with all dogs to determine the abilities of the dogs so that we can match the right dog to the right family. We do not shove our dogs out the door. We do multiple videos of the dogs as well to our potential adopters. We disclose all positive and negative behavior traits so our adopters can work on any training the dog may need. IDGSR starts the rehabilitation and training with these wonderful kids and our adopters are part of the team of folks who help to ensure these kids will never suffer another day of hardship in their lives again. IDGSR will not take Aggressive Dogs into the Rescue.
If you have ever loved a German Shepherd then you will know where our hearts are to save these dogs from a certain death. It is our goal to save more but we need wonderful qualified families who want to save a life and welcome a new family member. We continue the work with our adopters even after adoption, we help with training and advice and counsel. IDGSR's staff look forward to hearing from you. Help us to find your new devoted and loyal best friend.

Our Adoption Process...

see our website @ http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/idgsr.html
our adoption fees are based on age of the dog, from $150-$300. All dogs travel north on a paid Professional USDA transporter. There is a $140 transport + $50 for the Veterinarian Health check that all dogs are required to have before their trip to their new families.
All dogs are fully vetted before making their trip, have vaccinations, spayed or neutered and microchipped.
All of our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transports leave out weekly.
