** IN VERMONT ** IN NEED OF LOCAL FOSTER OR ADOPTER ** Meet Tucker!
Here is a short video clip of Tucker: https://youtu.be/
Tucker is approx. 2 years old, about 95 lbs., vetted, neutered, and micro-chipped. Tucker we believe is a Great Dane mix; he is shy and sweet, good with other dogs, low to medium energy, and is very bonded to Leo (fka Theo). He loves to ride in the car, is potty t rained and is free to roam the house when left alone (non destructive). He is a quiet and friendly boy; knows "Come" and "Stop". He is a wonderful dog that loves to be around people so he can get petted and scratched and is good with kids. Tucker and Leo are like Rhen & Stimpy and cannot live without each other but we may have to split them up as Leo is protective of Tucker and defends him around other dogs even when he doesn't need to. Stay tuned for more information!
If you are interested in adopting Tucker or Tucker and Theo as a bonded pair (only dogs) please fill out an Application at www.Passion-4-Paws.org (please make sure you have the Vermont site) thanks!

Disclosure: Breed labels are often incorrect: we rarely know the genetic lineage of the dogs we rescue. Many shelters and rescues specify breeds based on appearance; however, research has shown that less than 2% of a dog’s DNA determines appearance! Passion 4 Paws does not practice the use of labels pertaining to compatibility with others or dog breed. Labels such as “dog friendly” and “child friendly” should be used with caution as they often over-simplify the personalities and behavior of dogs.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
