My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Allow us to introduce you to RUDY, a 2-3 year old Great Dane/Pitbull mix, commonly known as a Danebull, if you are into hybrids. Considering where this boy was found, we don't think this was an intentional breeding looking to add to a new breed, but an accident of sorts. Yet, however RUDY came to me, he is a wonderful boy. The old saying the bigger they are, the bigger the babies they are holds true for RUDY. He can be a little timid at times, but this also makes sense because we were told that before he was abandoned, there was a neighbor who got his cheap thrills by kicking RUDY with his steel toed boots. RUDY loves to loved on. He came to our pound starving for both food and affection and he devours both. He is a gentle boy and will roll over on his back when you tell him no. RUDY can be strong, but considering his size and strength, he will need only a little training on a leash. He came to us filthy and he so enjoyed his bath that he practically fell asleep standing up while we bathed him. He loves to play with toys and toss them in the air. He gets along with most other dogs and he doesn't mind chickens. We don't know about cats. RUDY is currently at the local prison in Belmont County taking part in the cell dog training program where he is learning basic skills and tricks too. He is still available for adoption while he trains. Please call the pound to learn how you can meet RUDY while he is in training.
