Hi, I’m Bobby! I was found in the middle of a street by my foster mama who saved me from getting hit by a car. I tried running away for about half an hour, I was really scared and felt lost… until I finally got into her car and she drove me to her house. I was so thirsty. When I got there, I met my foster brother Charlie, the family dog, who I’m ok with but I mostly ignore him because he can be jealous of me, which is understandable. My foster mama went through all legal protocols to find my original home but to no avail, so Forte is helping me to find my forever home. I’m extremely happy, energetic and agile, and I want to be playing around always. I love to play with my human foster sisters; they are so fun to play with. They toss toys for me to catch and retrieve, and I loooove it! I am a very loyal dog, I follow my foster mama around all the time. My foster mama loves to give me kisses on my little nose. I’m protective of my foster family but very gentle. Did I mention I love kids? I have lots of fun playing with them, I’m the happiest being around them. My favorite thing to do so far is going to the park and rolling on the grass, it makes me so happy. I’m looking for a lovely family who will love me as I am and enjoy my active personality. I promise that I will love them forever.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters are carefully screened through our adoption process:

- If you're interested in an animal, we'll ask that you fill out a questionnaire, which we will review to ensure you and the dog you are interested in adopting are a good match.

- You will be asked to submit to a "home safety check" to determine the level of safety and adequacy of the area for the dog.

- An adoption fee is required and you must sign the adoption agreement, which ensures that if, for any reason, you are unable to keep the dog, he/she to be returned to Forte Animal Rescue only.

- Finally, we personally deliver your new family member to your home.

- Any additional donation would be greatly appreciated, and this portion will be tax-deductible. The donation goes to pay for all of the other animals in our care, many of which come to us with injuries or medical conditions that require treatment. Forte Animal Rescue survives solely on donations and it is for this reason that the adoption fee is nonnegotiable.

- Forte Animal Rescue reserves the right to cancel the adoption process at any time if the home situation or adoptive family has been misrepresented, if certain information was withheld, or if the dog is determined to be a better match with another family.
