Angel was selected for a six week training program through Doggone Express, where she will live with trainers 24/7. During that time, she will be crate, leash, and house trained and taught basic obedience. For more info, please contact Bill Barse at 504-239-0398 or email@example.com.
This lovely dog was found roaming in Metairie. We were able to get an address for her owner, but her previous home is now vacant. At least we know her name is Angel so we can say something familiar to her. Angel loves to be near people and craves attention. Two of our younger volunteers loved spending time with her outside, and Angel loved them. Angel is good with dogs at the shelter and participates in our doggie playgroup. Angel would prefer a home with someone who is home often.
Angel spent some time in a foster home and this is what her foster family had to say: Angel is a sweet, playful dog who loves humans, dogs, and chasing cats. She is house trained and walks very well on her leash. Angel loves the dog park, so a home with a big backyard and maybe another dog would be best for her! She loves kids and has lots of energy, but also loves to just sit and cuddle with you when you need her to relax. Angel has spent time in an office and does very well at work. She knows how to sit and stay. However, Angel needs a home with someone who is home a lot to reduce the amount of time that she is left alone. Angel just wants to give love and get love, and will be a loyal and loving companion to anyone who decides to give her a forever home!'
One of our shelter volunteers tells us Angel is eager to go outside, is very gentle, loves giving and getting kisses, seems to know 'come,' and is very affectionate. She is a sweet little girl.
The Doggone Express adoption fee is $150. The adoption fee includes vaccinations, mandatory spay/neuter, heartworm test, and microchip.
