Annapurna, born approximately June 15, 2015, is a beautiful, petite (under 8 lbs) tortie. She is the mother of our ‘mountain’ litter, Eiger, Kilimanjara, MaunaKea, Matterhorn, and Aconcagua. Her name is from a mountain in Nepal. She was a fantastic mom to her kittens and is now ‘mothering’ three other kittens that really don’t need it. She trills to them, she washes them, she ‘protects’ them by being anxious about the other kitties in the house. She is finally realizing they are no danger at all and is finally relaxing around them and the fosterer’s small dogs. She likes to be near humans and likes attention. She is quite a talker and has a lovely purr.

Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4pm.

Our Adoption Process...

Please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.fluffbuddies.org/infoquestions.php

Our kitties are FeLV tested (negative), spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. However, since the majority of our kitties are rescued from local high-kill shelters or 'from the streets', their backgrounds are unknown and we cannot guarantee the temperament or any unforeseen health problems that may arise with rescued animals. Our kitties are housed in foster homes in Sacramento County, California. Potential adopters are selected through an adoption screening process. There is a nominal adoption fee that goes towards the care of the kitties.
