AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER OR ADOPTION!!
Hurley would love a foster home (only dog in the house), and a permanent home
Hurley is a 4 year old handsome hunk of an American Bully with a lot of love to give! We think he is an Olde English Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier mix. He is a perfect bully size at 54 lbs, and whenever our volunteers walk him, everyone has to stop and say hello to this sweet, handsome boy. Hurley was neglected by his original family and taken to the shelter when his family could no longer care for him. He appears to have had chronic allergies, most likely to food, that went untreated for four years. Hurley is on the mend and eating the proper type of food, and would love to be part of a loving family. He adores people, but would prefer to be the only dog in the home. He has been working with Randy Davis of Argos Dog Training, as he can be reactive to dogs when he is on a leash, and his adoption includes follow up training with Randy. His adoption fee of $150.00 also includes his neuter, current vaccinations, microchip. For an adoption application, visit http://spotsavespets.org/adoption-application-dogs/ or email SPOT at firstname.lastname@example.org to meet Hurley!

You'll receive a copy, too, at to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
