My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My Story:

Well its still fresh so I’m a little sensitive. I did have a family that loved and adored me from 8 weeks of age till my time of surrender. I was happy girl that was really bonded to my people. They had kids and I loved them too. Sadly, there was issues with a landlord and the only option my family felt they had was to give me up. So.. here I am. Most people comment on my sad appearance but I've definitely improved over the last month since arriving into care. Due to the abrupt change in life I get really panicked when left alone. I will often howl and bark and scratch at doors trying to get to where you are. I know that with time and consistency I will overcome this but I'm just so afraid of being left again, you know? We all have baggage so I'm hoping this isn’t a deal breaker. I love to get outside and hike, smell stuff and run(on a long line). I’m pretty particular about my space and frankly get a little annoyed when other dogs over step it. I have no issue telling them to get lost. I am not a big fan of puppies and dogs with lots of energy. I like kids and would be open to sharing my new home with some older one, no toddlers please. While I understand its a learning stage I am not comfortable with having my ears and tail pulled - not even once!.
I guess I'm just looking for a place where I can be the centre of attention!

First Date:

Lets go for a mountain hike and take selfies from the top!

Perfect Match:

An older active couple that has children that are either older or have left the nest! People that are home enough to help me work through my separation anxiety and become the best girl I can be!

Guilty Pleasure:

Being with you ALLLL the time. I just love being with my person so much!

Fun Quirk:

I come with the Beagle Boo heart emoticon<3 Every now and then I like to use it. #LoudAndProud

5 Year Plan:

To find my forever home. To have a mat by the fireplace with my favourite bone and someone to kiss me good night. Im a simple lady just looking for real love.
