Watch my video! Calling all Lab lovin', toy throwin', fun havin' runners! My name is Jackson and I am looking for the perfect place to call home! What does my perfect home look like, you ask? Well, I am an active guy but I like to live more of a quiet life, so an adult only home is needed. I would love to go to a home with a fenced in back yard where you and I can romp around and play fetch together. I also need to be your one and only pet in the home, but don't worry! I've got plenty of love to share! My friends here will tell you how much I enjoy running and playing with toys. I have been working on my basic manners and loose leash walking and would love to continue learning more in my new home! A behavior consult is included prior to my adoption so you and I can start off our new lives together on the right paw! I can't wait to meet you!

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, 30 days free PetPlan health insurance for Oregon Residents and plenty of post adoption support!

About Oregon Humane Society

About Our Shelter...

•Visitors can meet one-on-one with pets in our "Get Acquainted Rooms." Bring the whole family--even your dog.
•To meet one of the animals in foster care, contact the Foster Care Department by calling (503) 416-5025 or email to set up an appointment. If provided in the animal's description, you may directly e-mail the foster care volunteer.
•If your pet meet is a success, you'll need to complete an adoption application (please do not fax or email the application, although you can download it and fill it out before you visit).
•You will be interviewed by an OHS adoption assistant to be sure you are familiar with any special needs the animal might have.
•We have a variable adoption fee policy based on an animal's age, breed, temperament, behavioral issues, and physical condition. Learn more here. If you are over 60 years old, be sure to ask about the adoption discount offered through the Pets for the Elderly Program.

Our Adoption Process...

To adopt a pet at OHS, you'll need to fill out an adoption application and complete an interview with an adoption specialist. But what's more important is everything that comes before the application and the interview, namely, finding the best match possible.
