Teddy's Story...
I would like you all to meet Teddy. There is no dog that is more loving and gentle than this amazing furkid. His birthdays is 12/13/2005 and that does make him almost 12 years old.
When he went to the groomer's she said he was the BEST she has ever seen, he even holds his paws up for his nails. He is completely vetted including micro chip and on flea and heart worm prevention. He is housetrained, crate trained .
Teddy has excellent recall and would do well with another gentle dog in the home. He came into rescue with Rusty, a doxie mix.
Ted had a great life with his mom since he was about 8 weeks old and now she has left him because she chose a man over her most faithful companions.
We hope there is a chance for Teddy to find another loving home. I promise you there is NO dog more loving than this boy, he is just an angel.
Please look in your heart and see if there is a small place for a boy named Teddy

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teddy, a Holland Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Holland, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Holland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Holland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Holland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Holland paves the way for another one to be saved.
