My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Stella (HWTH#17172A). She is a Doberman Pinscher mix, DOB: 11/28/16. Stella is a timid young dog that didn't receive the socialization she should have when she was a very young puppy. She was abandoned by a backyard breeder who had no concern for her emotional development. She was saved just before she was going to be dumped at the pound. She has been relinquished to Halfway to Home so that she can find the loving Forever home she so desperately seeks and so richly deserves.

Stella will require a patient, understanding, caring owner to help her reach the emotional state that will serve her and her human family for the rest of her life. At the rescue Stella is housed with Bear. Stella is shy but is learning to be more trusting and outgoing with help from Bear. Photo 2 shows Stella walking with Bear.

She has not been spayed yet (as of 7/13/17). We estimate that she will be at the Palmdale PetSmart (next door to Trader Joe's) starting Saturday 7/22/17. We are at PetSmart Saturday and Sunday, 1-5pm both days. For more information on Stella, please call Sandy at tele # 661-824-4495.
