Welcome to Katie's Roadside Rescue! We are an animal rescue with the primary mission of saving dogs that have been dumped in the country or by the side of the road to fend for themselves.

Chickpea has to be one of the sweetest little dogs. Her mom is Sunny who is also in rescue. Chickpea is funny, playful, good with kids of all sizes, dogs of all sizes but I can't really speak for cats. She is curious about squeaky toys - I'm sure she's never had one before. She is house trained and she knows the doggy door. She crates well at feeding time but doesn't really need to be crated as she is not destructive.
