Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Are you looking for a sweetheart? You have found her! Hi everyone! Welcome to my bio, my new life story! My name is May! I love to be close to my foster family! Snuggling is the best! In my foster home I also get to sleep on a nice dog bed whenever I want. I take a bunch of naps these days. Can you blame me? It is super comfy. While my family is gone I hang out in my kennel. It is a nice spot for a nap. My foster family is so cool that they let me sleep in their bed at night. It is awesome! I also really like walking. I am doing great on a leash and love exploring the new world of smells! I get along famously with other dogs but have not had exposure to cats or small humans. I am a little shy but if you are patient with me I will return the favor with lots of love and lots of snuggling! Come meet me and we can show you how fun napping is!
May is estimated to be 1.5 years old and 15 lbs. Since we don't know at all what doggy genes are in the dogs make up (we don't know who mom and dad are!), we are just guessing on breed.
All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They have all had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer, are treated for fleas, have a heartworm test if over 6 months old and are up to date on a heartworm preventative.
Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 60 mile radius of Minneapolis. If you are interested in meeting this dog please fill out the pre-adoption application on our website at http://www.safehandsrescue.org under Adopt and we will get back to you to arrange a meeting in the foster home.
