Violet-ADOPTED!'s Story...
UPDATE: Violet will be arriving at her new foster home on Dec. 30/07. We will update her info. after she has time to settle in with her foster family.

Violet is a very unusual but gorgeous Pennmarydel foxhound. She is approx. 2 yrs old. It has been difficult getting a good picture of her because all she wants to do is crawl up onto your lap and cuddle! The Pennmarydel hound is an extremely kind, sensitive and loving dog, a little timid but quickly adapts to home living. These dogs make wonderful pets and are good with other dogs and children.

If you are interested in adopting this beautiful sweet girl, please fill out our on line adoption application at ADOPTION APPLICATION

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Violet-ADOPTED!, a Ontario Foxhound/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Ontario, or seeking a Foxhound/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Ontario.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ontario already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ontario breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Foxhound/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ontario paves the way for another one to be saved.
