found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
UPDATE: Hayley's foster mom says that Haley is getting better every day. She loves to snuggle up with you inside, but loves to go outside too and play with the other dogs. Hayley would do well in a home with one other dog. She gets along fine with the cat in the home too.
Hayley is a gentle, sweetheart of a dog who just loves being around people and other animals. Outside and in, she's just gorgeous and she attracts attention everywhere she goes. Hayley has learned how to sit and wait politely for her food; how to go up and down stairs, and she is working on learning to walk on a leash. She gets along fabulously with other dogs and ignores the cat completely. She is almost housetrained...all of this in a few short weeks since she's come to live in a home environment. Hayley sleeps quietly in her crate at night (but will happily hog the bed, if you let her). Playful, curious and silly, all wrapped into one fun dog, Hayley's sunny personality is sure to make her a wonderful addition to an active family who will continue teaching her everything she missed out on in her early life. Are you that family?
Hi, I'm Hailey! I am as pretty as a princess and just as sweet as can be! I would love to have a home of my own!
Meet Haley: Haley has just arrived into rescue. She is an absolute doll who is friendly, happy and just learning what life in a home is all about.
Haley is approximately 2 years old. She has not had a very good start in life, at 5 months old, she along with 5 of her siblings were taken from their home due to neglect. They were held in the animal shelter for 22 months until the case was finally over and then they were finally able to put them up for adoption. The shelter had limited space and time, so once again their lives were in danger as they were going to be euthanized. Luckily there was a guardian angel looking out for them and all 6 of these wonderful hounds found rescues to save them. Haley is now in her foster home in Peterborough, Ontario. She is such a beautiful girl that will now learn what its like to be loved and be part of a family.
Bluetick Coonhounds are generally very easy going, happy go lucky hounds. They are scent hounds so a fenced yard is required to keep them safe. Daily exercise and a warm bed to sleep on will keep your bluetick happy.
Haley will require basic obedience training and obedience classes are highly recommended.
