Nico Pending's Story...

Update: Nico has entered foster care. We originally listed Nico as a female but found that she's a he! Oops!

Nico is 25 to 30lbs, about a year old, very very sweet, very friendly with people and great with other dogs and cats.  He's the sweetest little boy, even liked to be carried.

Please Note:  We are all volunteers and busy taking care of our foster dogs so please take the time to fill out our o-nline adoption application if you are interested in more information about any of the hounds that we have for adoption. Filling out our application does not obligate you to adopt in any way.  It does, however, help us to determine if the dog that your interested in would be a good match for your family and lifestyle.

All of our dogs are fully vetted.  They have been vaccinated, altered, microchipped and heartworm tested and on prevention.

ADOPTION FEE:  $350.00

LOCATION:    Nico is currently being fostered in Limehouse, Ontario .  Transportation to his forever home can be arranged.  Don't let distance deter you!

If you would like to give this beautiful boy a forever home please fill out our on line adoption application at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nico Pending, a Ontario Redbone Coonhound/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Redbone Coonhound/Beagle for sale in Ontario, or seeking a Redbone Coonhound/Beagle dog from a breeder in Ontario.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ontario already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ontario breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Redbone Coonhound/Beagle breeders who help with Redbone Coonhound/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ontario paves the way for another one to be saved.
