Harley ADOPTED's Story...
This is Harley the Hound who is 8 months old and getting taller all the time.  Harley is a loveable boy who loves the company of other dogs and kitties.  Harley is fostered with other dogs and is always very social.  He loves to play chase and chew on sticks but dinnertime is his favorite time of day.   Harley is allowed on some furniture at home where he loves to curl up beside either another canine or his foster mom.  He is very shiny and fully up-to-date with vaccines, including bordtella, as well as deworming on a monthly basis. He has tested negative for Heartworm and is on prevention all year round.  He will sit and laydown for food as it is his prime motivator for training and he is good on a leash.  This is a lovely indoor puppy, who is adorable inside and out.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley ADOPTED, a Ontario Black and Tan Coonhound/Bluetick Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black and Tan Coonhound/Bluetick Coonhound for sale in Ontario, or seeking a Black and Tan Coonhound/Bluetick Coonhound puppy from a breeder in Ontario.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ontario already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ontario breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black and Tan Coonhound/Bluetick Coonhound breeders who help with Black and Tan Coonhound/Bluetick Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ontario paves the way for another one to be saved.
